Robbinsdale Area Schools were honored as a NASA HUNCH School of Excellence, a distinction that reflects the hands-on contributions of students to real NASA projects. At the heart of this achievement is Armstrong High School, where students showcased innovative work, including solutions for long-duration spaceflight mental health and zero-gravity IV systems. Recognized by NASA engineers, these young innovators are tackling challenges critical to human space exploration, with two student groups selected as finalists for NASA’s prestigious Human Research Program Investigators’ Workshop. This recognition not only highlights their technical skill but also their passion for creating solutions with life-saving potential both in space and on Earth.
