Flight Configuration- Gateway-Padded Refrigation enclosure unit

Objective: Design a protective soft bag to protect a refrigeration unit while it is being transferred inside Gateway.

Think a CTB bag style for research.

Key Features:

• Development of concepts, digital models, and design evaluations
• Meetings and collaboration with project stakeholders
• Design for ease of use to enclose refrigeration unit, added opened/closed access panels that will provide access to front of freezer if necessary.
• Multiple handle locations for ease of both ground and on orbit handling

• Bag must have a padded layer to protect the refrigeration unit.
• Utilization of aerospace fabrics and materials
• What foams are approved for the ISS?
