Students Design Innovative Tape Dispenser for Use on the International Space Station cover

High school students in the NASA HUNCH program developed a specialized tape dispenser for the International Space Station, designed for one-handed use in microgravity. Built with machined and 3D-printed parts, the dispenser holds two rolls of tape and attaches directly to the ISS seat track. After being designed to NASA specifications, it was successfully tested on orbit, showcasing the program’s impact on student learning and real-world space solutions.
