Deep Space Logistics Module VR, Computer Simulation or Game

So NASA's Deep SPACE Logistics Team is putting together a Deep Space Logistics Module for the Gateway space station.

Deep Space Logistics (DSL) is the management and coordination of NASA and commercial supply chains in deep space. It involves procuring services from commercial providers to transport cargo, equipment, and consumables to support missions to the Moon and Mars. DSL takes the lead in establishing the commercial supply chain and coordinates multiple supply missions to the Gateway outpost in lunar orbit. Collaboration with commercial and international partners is crucial to ensure the successful delivery of cargo and supplies.

The responsibilities of Deep Space Logistics include procuring services from commercial providers for transporting cargo, coordinating supply missions to the Gateway outpost, and collaborating with partners. The goal is to establish a reliable and efficient system for transporting essential items to support deep space exploration. This involves delivering critical cargo, science experiments, supplies, and sample collection materials. By managing the commercial supply chain, DSL plays a vital role in enabling the exploration and advancement of human presence beyond Earth's orbit.

The Challenge: Is to design a working prototype of the NASA Deep Space Logistics prototype. This prototype can take one of four forms.

  1. VR or AVR.
  2. A Controllable animation on a laptop or tablet.
  3. A computer, Tablet or Smart Phone Game.
  4. A Computer simulation using simulation software.

High Level Objective: For each of the four forms, primary objective is to place as many modules as possible into the Deep Space Logistics Module, and access them with the least amount of touch and movement.
